As modern passengers' needs evolve, airlines adjust processes to improve the air travel experience. Across the country airlines, like American Airlines, are adding self-bag tagging kiosk. Airport GC has assisted with many such projects for several airlines.
In San Jose, Airport GC met with the airport's properties, security, and IT teams to facilitate a seamless move of eight existing kiosks and add two new ADA compliant kiosk without impacting passengers or neighboring airlines. We worked with our well vetted sub-contractors to scan, core drill, and run power and data for the new location. The concourse area was clean and operational before the first passengers needed to check in for early flights.
Project was complete in 3 days.
