Project: IT Upgrade and Relocation

Airport

San Jose Int'l Airport

Airline

Alaska Airlines

Date Completed

December 1, 2016

Alaska Airlines needed to upgrade their IT rack, we relocated the existing rack and installed a new IT tower and secured the new location with a locking cage. The rack and cage were designed to comply with current California seismic codes and bolted to the concrete slab.

The full scope included installationof new communications cabinet, raceway, dedicated electrical circuits, battery power backup and locking cage enclosure.

Critical to the project was permitting, plan reviews, and inspection with the City of San Jose, which Airport GC coordinated with the airport and the city.

The activation of this new IT tower was completed during off hours without any disruption to Alaska Airlines operations.
